Revelation Red Wine - Château La Commanderie de Queyret Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Bordeaux Superieur 2022 14% ABV

At this price, 95pts at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026 is quite exceptional.

It was the highest-scoring Bordeaux Supérieur of the competition. The judges praised its precise combination of mineral freshness, perfectly ripe fruit and finely judged oak. A superb modern Bordeaux with serious pedigree presenting outstanding value.

Rich and enticing, with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, alongside hints of vanilla, spice and finely integrated oak. The palate is generous and rounded, with succulent dark fruit, fresh mineral notes and smooth, supple tannins. A touch of toast and spice adds complexity, while the finish is long, balanced and beautifully refined. Around 40% of the wine is matured in barriques for 12 months, adding texture and depth without overpowering the fruit.
